Help find Win­nie

PO­LICE are con­tin­u­ing to search for a mini dachs­hund stolen from a South Toowoomba home last week.

Win­nie the mini dachs­hund was re­ported stolen from the Bright St home last Tues­day.

It’s be­lieved she was taken some time be­tween 6am and 4pm.

Win­nie is a black, tan and white minia­ture of the breed with dis­tinc­tive blue and brown eyes.

She has a white patch on her chest and her own­ers re­ported Win­nie was wear­ing a pink col­lar.

Toowoomba po­lice yes­ter­day clar­i­fied con­fu­sion on so­cial me­dia about the miss­ing pup’s name af­ter Win­nie’s theft and an­other sim­i­lar mini dachs­hund were shared on Face­book.

Po­lice con­firmed the dog sub­ject to an ap­peal for help lo­cat­ing her was named Win­nie, while a sec­ond dog is be­lieved to be named Lacy.
