Phil’s suc­cess recog­nised

Co­bram res­i­dent Phil Badura won the best clients re­sults award at the an­nual Ac­tionCOACH Global Con­fer­ence at the Hamil­ton Island Con­ven­tion Cen­tre on Au­gust 10.

Mr Badura re­ceived the award for the coach­ing work he has done through­out north­ern Vic­to­ria and south­ern NSW in the past year.

As an Ac­tionCOACH, Mr Badura takes pride in the suc­cess of his clients and in the past 12 months 27 new jobs have been cre­ated in the re­gion, adding more than $3 mil­lion to lo­cal com­mu­nity economies.

One of his clients was Re­nae Pi­tar­gue at First Class Ac­counts Ovens and Mur­ray.

Dur­ing this year of coach­ing, First Class Ac­counts went on to win the best ser­vice-based busi­ness un­der 10 em­ploy­ees at the 2017 Busi­ness Ex­cel­lence Fo­rum.

‘‘I am hon­oured to re­ceive this award as it shows how coach­ing can make a huge im­pact on so many lives,’’ Mr Badura said.

‘‘This award is a re­flec­tion of the work that all of my clients have achieved in work­ing on the things that mat­ter in their busi­ness, in­clud­ing fi­nance, sys­tems, team, time and them­selves.

‘‘It’s tremen­dously grat­i­fy­ing to help small busi­ness own­ers reach their po­ten­tial in that way.’’
