A-grade was won by Jan Cur­ran with 37 points, B-grade was won by Liz Jewell with 36 points on a count­back and C-grade was won by Mary Rodger with 44 points. Near­est-the-pins: eighth Marg Rhode; 12th Chris Craw­ford; sec­ond shot Betty Cranston. Balls to 34 points on a count­back. Vic­to­ria de­feated NSW 28.8-28.5.

THURS­DAY The old course was the venue for Thurs­day’s stroke event. A-grade was won by Ge­off Hall with 67 nett, while Bill Hoog won B-grade with 63 nett. Near­est-the-pins: sixth Colin Rankin; eighth Sam Condy; 12th Bill Mansell; 17th Dale Casley. Balls down the line went to 73 nett. The women’s win­ner was Gai Mitchel­son with 76 nett and near­est-the-pin on the eighth was Christina Hr­dina.

SATUR­DAY Satur­day’s par event was played on the old course. A-grade was won by John Parkin­son with 6-up and B-grade win­ner was Gra­ham Chap­man with 4-up.
