A-grade was won by Jan Curran with 37 points, B-grade was won by Liz Jewell with 36 points on a countback and C-grade was won by Mary Rodger with 44 points. Nearest-the-pins: eighth Marg Rhode; 12th Chris Crawford; second shot Betty Cranston. Balls to 34 points on a countback. Victoria defeated NSW 28.8-28.5.
THURSDAY The old course was the venue for Thursday’s stroke event. A-grade was won by Geoff Hall with 67 nett, while Bill Hoog won B-grade with 63 nett.
