Young Tigers celebrate a big season on the court
Cobram Netball Club celebrated a big season on Friday with its junior presentation night at the Scott Oval clubrooms.
Ruby Higgins took home the under-13 best-andfairest award with 35 votes, followed by Alahni Hulley on 22.
The under-15 count was won by Angela Noonan, who polled a big tally of 39 votes to finish well ahead of Kirbey Rudd on 25 votes.
In the under-17s, Claire Baxter capped off a stellar year by polling 38 votes to comfortably win the bestand-fairest award.
Matilda Kelly was runner-up with 24 votes in a consistent season.
Lillieth Ukich claimed the junior club person of the year award.
Recognition: Meg Hyde claimed the under-13 coaches award.
Under-17 award winners: Eliza Crosby (coaches award), Claire Baxter (best-andfairest winner), Matilda Kelly (best-andfairest runner-up) and Molly Rae (coaches award).
Under-15 award winners: Laura McLeod (coaches award), Kirbey Rudd (best-andfairest runner-up), Angela Noonan (bestand-fairest winner) and Zarli Kerr (coaches award).
Season’s best: Ruby Higgins won the under-13 best-and-fairest award.
