Mayor Libro Mustica’s Buy Local Christmas message . . .

The Cobram Courier - - CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE 2018 -

Retailers throughout Moira Shire are getting into the festive spirit with a variety of Christmas specials throughout December. Businesses in Numurkah, Nathalia, Cobram and Yarrawonga as well as our smaller communities will join in the celebrations with extended trading hours leading into Christmas, along with town-specific Christmas celebratory events.

Mayor Libro Mustica said if people hadn’t begun their Christmas shopping then now was the perfect time to start.

“With the variety of businesses and individual makers and creators throughout our shire, I’m sure you will find a present for event those who are the hardest to buy for,” Cr Mustica said.

“Our local businesses provide the backbone to our towns and what better way to support them than by shopping locally.

“Not only will shops and cafes be open longer, there will be lots of fun and festivities to participate in, including a special visit from Santa.”
