Christ­mas con­cert

High tea

Co­bram-Ba­rooga Golf Club is host­ing a high tea on Satur­day from 2 pm to 4 pm. Tick­ets are $70, with all prof­its go­ing to Moira FoodShare.

Plant sale

Ba­rooga Com­mu­nity Botan­i­cal Gar­dens volunteers are hold­ing a plant sale on Satur­day from 9 am to 1 pm. Ferns, flow­er­ing plants, suc­cu­lents, and a small va­ri­ety of trees will be avail­able. All pro­ceeds are used to main­tain and im­prove the gar­dens.

Christ­mas dance

Farm­ers’ Christ­mas lunch

Ba­rooga Li­ons Club is hold­ing a lunch on Christ­mas day, De­cem­ber 25, at Yar­roweyah Foot­ball Club for all lo­cal farm­ers. Co­bram Li­ons Club

Club meets sec­ond and fourth Tues­day of each month at 7 pm. Come and meet us at our monthly mar­ket at Fed­er­a­tion Park, held on the last Satur­day of the month, or out­side your lo­cal hard­ware stores on the sec­ond Satur­day of each month. Put on a red hat

Want to be part of the Red Hat So­ci­ety? The ‘Rav­ing Reds’ group is look­ing for new mem­bers — women aged 50 and over who have a zest for life and wish to take part in a fun-lov­ing friendly group that has no rules and no com­mit­tees. The only ex­cep­tion is the dress code: a red hat (or some­thing friv­o­lous) worn with a pur­ple out­fit. The group meets reg­u­larly at var­i­ous venues. Rhyme and sto­ry­time

Rhyme and Sto­ry­time is on ev­ery Fri­day at 10.30 am at the Co­bram li­brary. Ses­sions be­gin with rhymes and songs, fol­lowed by stories and then a simple craft. Ba­bies, tod­dlers and pre-school­ers, with their car­ers, are all wel­come to join in.

Cancer sup­port group

The Co­bram and District Cancer Sup­port Group meets on the first Fri­day of each month at 1.30 pm at Kil­lara House, Bank St, Co­bram.
