St Mary of the Angels College was proud to share in the result of months of hard work and dedication with students receiving their Year 12 ATAR results.

Seventy-one per cent of the 60 VCE students managed an ATAR of 50 or above, with 25 per cent rounding out 80s or above.

The college recorded 14 study scores of 40 or above with a particularly strong showing for English results, with seven students scoring above 40 and two students scoring 45 or above, placing them in the top two per cent of the state.

Dux was Bridget Seiter with 91.4, followed by Cooper Fitzpatrick from Cobram with 89.9, Ali Boyd from Nathalia with 89.65, Eliza Flanigan from Katamatite with 89.5 and Livindya Sooriarchchi from Numurkah, who rounded out the top five results, with 88.75.

‘‘We’re proud of all of our 2018 Year 12 graduates, we congratulated our top scoring students for their exceptional academic achievement and we wish all of our students success on their chosen pathways into the future,’’ college principal Matt Carver said.

‘‘We congratulate Bridget on her achievement. Bridget has consistently achieved outstanding school results and this is a reflection of the dedication, effort, time management skills and focus that she has shown throughout her schooling, especially during her final year.’’

Hard work pays off: Cooper Fitzpatrick was among St Mary of the Angels College’s top performing academic students.
