Home with street presence

The Coffs Coast Advocate - - SCHOOL OF THE WEEK -

Excel Property Agency’s Linda Nolan shares with us this Coffs Harbour home as our pick of the week. What can you tell us abut this property Linda? Centrally located in Coffs Harbour, 14 O’Neill Street sits proudly on the high side of the street with a very pleasant green outlook across the road. You certainly notice the quality and presence from the curbside. As you enter the home, the front porch and entry invites you in, with a feeling of spaciousness and intrigue. The open plan living with high ceilings, is fresh, airy and picturesque, with an air-conditioner keeping the temperature perfect. The kitchen also enjoys this green outlook from all its windows. White cabinetry, fresh with quality appliances, a near new dishwasher and large pantry. The kitchen overlooks the rear terraced yard, and the paved entertaining area. Not many homes, have a master suite like this one. Wishing on a star, is a dream come true in this room, literally viewing the stars from your bed. An ensuite of course, plus loads of robes, and a sitting area. The central staircase leads you comfortably, with a little grandeur to the next level. Complete with ducted air-conditioning up here, upstairs features a modern bathroom and separate toilet, plus three further bedrooms and laundry. The double garage has high ceilings and access under the house. It is sufficient protection for the cars, plus that little bit extra storage when needed. Conveniently located near the Plaza and Homebase Shopping centres, schools, basketball stadium and beautiful Macauley’s Beach only a few minutes’ drive. What is your favourite feature of the home? Firstly, the main bedroom suite with its white shutters separating the bedroom from the retreat space. I love how you can lie in bed watching the stars as you fall into a restful sleep. Secondly, I love the presence this home has from the street. It sits proudly on the high side, and somehow seems to welcome you in. I have always wondered what was behind those front double doors, and now I have the privilege of marketing for the owner. There is a feeling of warm hospitality radiating from this property. Who will be interested in buying this home? I suggest families with a couple of children is ideal, the kids have their own separate wing upstairs. Professional couples and perhaps investors wanting a portfolio of quality homes.
