FoodCon 2018 a Success
FoodCon 2018 brought together all sectors of the agri-food industry for a fabulous day of inspirational talks, amazing regional food, and lots of opportunity for businesses to make connections. Guest speaker Paul West had everyone talking about ‘food as the new travel souvenir’ and chatted with growers, students and chefs, while tasting the local flavours. Food strategist Rose Wright used the value chain to create ideas around collaboration; and the audience learned about online platforms connecting farmers, the online fish auction created in Coffs Harbour, and how to embrace Instagram to tell brand stories.
