Be in the moment.

You get to choose your intentions for each and every day.

My intention is to experience happiness daily. How do I do that?

How we perceive our environment, physical, emotional, and mental, impacts our daily life. Be open to reviewing your perceptions, and be open to change.

Be grateful for what you have, don’t focus on what you don’t have.

Set healthy boundaries, and don’t allow people to treat you in an unrespectful manner.

Look after your health through good nutrition and exercise. Get those good endorphins moving through your body.

Check-in on your emotions. Seek assistance if you feel they are getting out of control.

Look after your own needs – physical and emotional.

Remember, if you are having a moment, it is okay. This too, will pass. Look after yourself, before others, in a resourceful way. If you are not at your best, you cannot give your best.

Do what you love to do, and what brings you joy. Be in the moment, and enjoy life as much as you can.

You will thank yourself for looking after you.

The #1 Amazon Best Selling Author "An Enlightened Life" we sat down with Terri to find out more about herself and her passion for helping others.

Tell us why you are passionate about being a beacon of light for others?

As a matured-aged woman, if I can inspire one woman to live her life by design, rather than default, I will be happy. As a generalisation, as women, we neglect our own desires, to ensure others are taken care of. We need to take care of us first and foremost, to enable us to take care of others. I chose to support my husband’s career, and now he is supporting my career choices. We don’t have to have it all, yet we do need to have what brings us joy and empowerment.

Tell us why you are a leader in your field?

I am a connector and a collaborator. I will work with my clients to tell, write and share their story, in their voice, at their pace. I ensure my clients are listened to, acknowledged and validated, to achieve the best outcome for them.

Tell us what the word "enlightened" means to you?

I live my life on my terms. I don’t seek or need approval from others. I am fortunate to be living my life, on purpose, through my writing for myself and others. It took many years to achieve my dream. I am grateful for the life journey I have travelled.

What is your favourite quote about living An Enlightened Life?

Enlightenment does not mean making the most of bad situations. It means knowing that every situation is neither good nor bad.

The theme for this issue is "In the moment' what does this mean to you and how are you stepping into your own moment of being a best selling author?

I am successful in my own right. If I can work doing what I love to do, I will be in my happy place. I am using my writing success to leverage my ghostwriting, as I can demonstrate I have the skills and experience, to write for others, to share their stories.
