WHAT IT IS

Employers, workers and workplaces need to be compliant with various employment laws ranging from discrimination and harassment to minimum wage and superannuation. Rights and entitlements are listed in official documents such as legislation, awards and enterprise agreements which can be read online. Short courses exist to help present the information in everyday language.

COST

Some private training providers offer courses for a fee, while free online training courses are offered by the Fair Work Ombudsman via fairwork.gov.au/how-we-will-help

DURATION

Online courses can be completed at your own pace but students should check with their provider if there is an expiration deadline.

QUALIFICATIONS

No formal or nationally recognised certificates are issued for the completion of a course.
