For hu­man re­sources pro­fes­sion­als, it is def­i­nitely worth clock­ing on to work – and en­cour­ag­ing the staff they over­see to clock on too – as many earn six-fig­ure salaries. SEEK data re­veals in­ter­nal HR man­ager roles have an av­er­age ad­ver­tised salary of $112,635. Other top-earn­ing HR and re­cruit­ment pro­fes­sion­als are those that spe­cialise in or­gan­i­sa­tional de­vel­op­ment ($111,323), re­mu­ner­a­tion and ben­e­fits ($101,062) and in­dus­trial and em­ployee re­la­tions ($101,059). Jobs de­part­ment mod­el­ling pre­dicts roles will be cre­ated for an ex­tra 7400 HR man­agers and 6900 HR pro­fes­sion­als in the next five years. About three in five HR man­agers and half of all HR pro­fes­sion­als have been to uni­ver­sity. Oth­ers have com­pleted a vo­ca­tional qual­i­fi­ca­tion, such as a Diploma of Hu­man Re­sources Man­age­ment.
