For human resources professionals, it is definitely worth clocking on to work – and encouraging the staff they oversee to clock on too – as many earn six-figure salaries. SEEK data reveals internal HR manager roles have an average advertised salary of $112,635. Other top-earning HR and recruitment professionals are those that specialise in organisational development ($111,323), remuneration and benefits ($101,062) and industrial and employee relations ($101,059). Jobs department modelling predicts roles will be created for an extra 7400 HR managers and 6900 HR professionals in the next five years. About three in five HR managers and half of all HR professionals have been to university. Others have completed a vocational qualification, such as a Diploma of Human Resources Management.
