INNOVATION ON DISPLAY
A NEW home mecca is now under construction in Townsville, with 26 homes to open at Stockland’s North Shore development in May.
With 54 bathrooms, 26 kitchens and 96 bedrooms all fitted out with the latest technology and innovative ideas, the next-generation village will set the bar for building inspiration and innovation in north Queensland.
Stockland North Shore project director Andrew Astorquia said the site would feature 17 builders – Jazz Homes, AP Williams & Co, Vista Homes, Finlay Homes, Fusions Future Smart Homes, Doble Homes, Martin Locke Homes, Keir Constructions, Gedoun Property Group, Cavalier Homes, Breakfree Homes, Michael Case Homes, DJ Jones Constructions, S&P Constructions, Allaro Homes, Grady Homes and Dean Powell Constructions.
“The amount of builder interest in the village has been phenomenal,” Mr Astorquia said. “If you’re thinking of taking the next step in finding your new home, then North Shore is the place to find inspiration.
“We have partnered with builders to deliver as much variety and inspiration as possible. It will be the premier destination for new-home buyers and renovators alike.”
While it might take more than a day to get through all 26 of the display homes, the sales and information centre will also be a must-see, offering an educational focus on product, design, innovation and new technology.
North Shore is one of Queensland’s fastest-growing communities, with an average of more than five families a week moving into their new homes.
Community facilities include an aquatic centre, two schools, a childcare centre, gym, shopping centre, 12 playgrounds and more than 10km of cycling and walking tracks. There are also plans for a night-time eat precinct, a tavern, two additional schools, a homemaker centre, another 15 playgrounds and 32km of cycling and walking tracks.
