MINNIPPI TEES OFF
A unique site offering quality and space over 100ha of natural habitat and a golf course has hit the market.
Only 11km from Brisbane’s CBD, the 123-lot Minnippi project, by developer Urbex, will feature land with an average size of 734sq m and packaged housing on lots off Creek Rd, Carina.
The first release of 53 lots, Flora, sold within hours of being released to the public.
Properties from 523sq m to 1025sq m range from $390,000 to $650,000.
Urbex sales manager and project manager Stacey Scrutton said Minnippi offered a unique combination of large new homesites set in bushland in a long-settled community.
“Minnippi is only 11km from the CBD and close to Carindale Shopping Centre,” Ms Scrutton said.
“Yet it offers the opportunity for first-home buyers and the mature market to stay in their community and create a new home from scratch, without the problems of renovation and character housing restrictions.”
The residential lots will be complemented by terrace homes in four locations.
Minnippi will provide direct access to Brisbane’s first public golf course to be built in 70 years, and will be surrounded by squirrel glider habitat boosted by a massive program to plant 75,000 new trees and bushes.
“Minnippi is all about living in nature, open space and recreation,” Ms Scrutton said.
Construction has begun on a new entrance into Minnippi directly off Creek Rd, and stages one to four of the development will be completed by mid 2017.
Stage five will be delivered shortly after the completion in late 2018 of the golf course.
