With the festive season over and school resuming on January 22, many parents will have turned their minds to book lists and study spaces.

And Cre8 Kids, part of the Cre8 Sound and Design brand at Banyo, has been busy coming up with some funky designs for pinboards.

“After more than a decade making workspaces fun and stimulating for adults, we wanted to translate this energy into kids’ study spaces,” Cre8 Kids director Lara Bliss said.

“As a mother, I know how important an inspiring study environment is to motivate kids to do their homework.”

The functional, lightweight pinboards by Cre8 Kids come in a range of shapes including a star, dump truck, space shuttle, moon, cloud, heart, butterfly and ballerina.

Each one has mounting strips for easy installation and removal.

When it comes to designing a study fitout for a young student, there are several factors to consider. But most importantly, involve your little learner in the design process.

Picking a quiet spot, choosing the right desk, selecting the perfect chair, removing clutter and finding the right lighting are key to creating the perfect learning environment.
