Two new projects are on the horizon for Brisbane-based developer Di Marco Group.

Di Marco Group managing director Adam Di Marco said the company had recently purchased two sites, set to deliver more than 30 new apartments to the city.

“We’ve purchased 8-10 Amersham St, West End, or a premium 23-unit boutique development,” Mr Di Marco said.

“We’ve also just purchased a CBD site at 466 Ann St, Brisbane, for a super premium one-apartment per floor subtropical apartment project.”

Mr Di Marco said the West End property was tightly held for more than 70 years and when owner Alma Farrah died in her 90s, her their children sold it.

“We’ve engaged award-winning architects Arkhefield,” he said. The development is expected to gain approval by late December and marketing for the 23 three-bedroom apartments would start by the second quarter next year with a completion date in mid-2020.

Known as “Perry Lane’’, Mr Di Marco said the CBD project would deliver 11 four-bedroom apartments with 160sq m of internal space, in addition to 30sq m balconies. “It will be the first boutique residential project in the CBD in more than a decade,” he said.

Mr Di Marco said the group acquired the property after its developer went into liquidation and expected the development application to be lodged by the end of the year.

The apartments, which will also be designed by Arkhefield, will be brought to the market by the second quarter of next year with completion due by the end of 2020.

“We’ve engaged award-winning architects Arkhefield to prepare a stunning scheme.’’
