No child seat anchors
TWOweeks ago I picked up my new D40 Nissan Navara turbodiesel dual cab and I amvery impressed with the way the car drives. It’s a lot better than my 2006 Rodeo V6, in many ways.
But I amdisappointed Nissan do not provide any mounting points for child seats in the back, despite Nissan brochures with photos of dad with the wife and kids on the beach and camping in the bush.
I cannot believe our Australian Design Rules do not require these vehicles to have anchor points. An approved installer has quoted me nearly $600 to get two fitted.
I still own a Triton dual cab and a Rodeo dual cab. Both have anchor points.
