Auction action reaps rewards before and after the big day
RAY White’s large auction days have reaped success on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane.
Ray White Surfers Paradise listed 37 properties for auction.
A couple sold before the day. Others included a deceased estate at Esme St, Mt Tamborine, (right) that sold for $1.45 million.
Property records reveal it was owned by Narelle Robinson, wife of the late Eric Robinson, former Member for McPherson and finance minister in the Fraser government. The property has views to Stradbroke Island.
It is understood that Bellagio, on The Sovereign Islands, which was passed in on an auctioneer’s bid of $3.7 million has now gone to contract.
The five-bedroom home built by Chris and Michele Kahler, which has never been lived in, was offered for sale by receivers.
Confidentiality agreements surround all aspects of the deal, but word is the sale price is substantially higher than what it was passed in for. We’ll let you know how much it went for once the deal settles.
