FEA­TUR­ING a South Pa­cific de­sign by Stephen Kidd with high voided ceil­ings, ex­panses of glass and open-plan liv­ing ar­eas, this con­tem­po­rary property show­cases space and light.

The house, built by John Cobb, also has 33m of wa­ter frontage with a tran­quil out­look and un­in­ter­rupted views.

The ex­pan­sive floor­plan spans two lev­els, in­cor­po­rat­ing five bed­rooms, or four and an of­fice, and nu­mer­ous zones for liv­ing and en­ter­tain­ment.

A grand en­trance foyer, fea­tur­ing a glass and tim­ber pivot front door, flows to a vast open-plan liv­ing and din­ing space ori­ented to­wards the wa­ter. In­te­rior fea­tures in­clude rich tim­ber floor­ing, neu­tral colours and a soar­ing atrium ceil­ing with glass lou­vres.

Walls of glass bi-fold doors with Western red cedar frames al­low for abun­dant nat­u­ral light and views, while also open­ing to a wrap­around beech tim­ber deck.

The liv­ing area also has a gas fire­place with stone sur­rounds.

Over­look­ing the din­ing space is a mod­ern kitchen with Cae­sar­stone bench­tops, a new in­duc­tion cook­top and range­hood, and a range of Miele ap­pli­ances, in­clud­ing a cof­fee ma­chine and steam oven.

There is also a large is­land break­fast bar with built-in wine stor­age.

At the front of the floor­plan are a study with built-in join­ery, and a theatre room with car­pet floor­ing.

The lower level also has a bed­room with a built-in wardrobe, en­suite and over­sized slid­ing glass doors to a tim­ber deck.

Fur­ther sleep­ing ac­com­mo­da­tion ex­tends across the up­per floor of the res­i­dence.

The main bed­room has floor-to-ceil­ing glass doors to a cov­ered deck with el­e­vated wa­ter views. There is also a car­peted dress­ing area and walk-in wardrobe, and an en­suite with dual van­i­ties.

Two nearby bed­rooms in­clude built-in wardrobes, en­suites and di­rect ac­cess to a shared deck.

The up­per level also en­com­passes a sit­ting area with tim­ber floors.

There is both ducted and split-sys­tem air­con­di­tion­ing, ceil­ing fans, a ducted vac­uum sys­tem, dou­ble garage and ex­ten­sive stor­age space.

Out­side, the large 867sq m wa­ter­front block boasts an im­pres­sive Traver­tine pool with a wa­ter fea­ture and frame­less glass sur­rounds, as well as a land­scaped gar­den, a pri­vate jetty and sev­eral ter­races and pa­tio spa­ces.
