Market still hot despite winter chill
THE chilly winter weather hasn’t cooled off our property market, with many agents still reporting good sales and plenty of buyer interest.
Johnston Dixon CEO John Johnston said that with the school holidays now over, the Brisbane market was likely to improve even further.
Mr Johnston said that current low stock, especially in the mid to high end of the market, low interest rates and increasing demand equated to a positive outlook for the rest of the season.
RP Data figures show listings across Queensland have dropped this week, but there are still some beauties on the market.
Former rugby league coach Bob Bennett, the brother of NRL coach Wayne Bennett, is taking his luxury Helensvale property to auction next month.
Bob is well-known in football circles for both his playing and coaching abilities and has just been awarded an MBE in the Queen’s birthday honours list for his services to rugby league in Papua New Guinea.
