Free seminar explores the how-to of buying property
PROSPECTIVE homebuyers can get an inside look at how the property market works at a free seminar next month.
The Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) is holding its next free home buyer’s seminar in Brisbane on August 23.
The Experts’ Guide to Buying Queensland Property seminar is designed for first-home buyers, investors or anyone interested in Queensland property.
Topics covered in the seminar include current market conditions, researching your purchase, inspections and negotiating sale prices, lending criteria, legal processes and where and what to buy.
REIQ acting CEO Antonia Mercorella said past seminars had been highly popular, attracting people from all over the state.
“Our past seminars have been a real hit with home buyers, so it’s important to register if you want to attend the next one in August,” Ms Mercorella said.
“The seminar will address some of the key questions about buying property, along with practical advice to make the process as stress-free as possible. Buying a property is the biggest financial commitment most people will ever make and it’s essential to be fully prepared before taking on home ownership.”
All attendees will receive a free copy of the latest REIQ Queensland Market Monitor.
The seminar will be held 9am-1pm on August 23 at the REIQ’s head office at 21 Turbo Drive, Coorparoo.
Bookings are essential as places are limited.
