BRISBANE’S Oxlade Drive is home to some of the city’s richest waterfront property sales and it’s tipped to make another splash at auction today.

More than 420sq m of prized New Farm land is going under the hammer after David and Christine Buckley opted to sell their groundfloor villa in the “Platinum on the River” complex.

The three-bedroom, twobathroom apartment at 2/166 Oxlade Drive shares a 1km stretch, from New Farm Park to Sydney St ferry terminal, with Brisbane’s most exclusive property.

One of the highest sales on the river last year was $8.5 million for a home on 1639sq m just a few doors down from the Buckley residence.

Mr Buckley (pictured right) said he didn’t have a case of nerves ahead of the auction although his wife may be more emotional.
