Dining by numbers
Lizzie Loel has a fantastic job. Restaurant critics, when not penning a report, seem to travel from one venue to another on a gastronomic holiday. Loel’s critique of Wild Canary at Brookfield (Restaurant, Apr 5-6) left me wondering just why she only awarded it 15/20. The food on offer sounded delectable, served in an amazing garden setting, so we are left totally up in the air (with the canaries) as to the reasons behind her score of 75 per cent. I am awaiting the day a restaurant scores 20/20.
