In these equa­tions, ge­o­met­ri­cal sym­bols are sub­sti­tuted for sin­gle dig­its with the to­tal nu­mer­i­cal value of each row shown. The first equa­tion is ad­di­tion and the sec­ond and third equa­tions are mul­ti­pli­ca­tion. The same sym­bol rep­re­sents the same digit through­out. The same digit can­not be rep­re­sented by more than one dif­fer­ent sym­bol. Use logic to de­ter­mine the num­bers, which can be placed in­side the sym­bols. An­swers page 34
