The Courier-Mail - QWeekend

- Susan McLochlan, Caboolture South Patricia Carlill, Hemmant

Your bold front page (“How to be happy”, April 3-4) and the colourful garb Rachel Burke was wearing instantly reminded me of (the late) louder-than-life Jeannie Little and her creations that she wore on The Mike Walsh Show and the Ray Martin Show. Reading Qweekend magazine is on my list of what makes me happy. pressure when our mother needed looking after, so my sister and I decided to share the responsibility, she living in NSW and me here in Queensland. The brother was out of it as he lives in England. This worked till dementia set in and we placed Mum into a nursing home. Even though you love your Mum (parents) having her live with you puts pressure on your own lifestyle.
