AS THE Fourth Test at Trent Bridge should have been coming to a thrilling conclusion, Ashes tourists David Warner and Peter Siddle were instead cleaning up at Sideshow Alley at the local fair.

And coach Darren Lehmann issued a public shoutout for tickets to the opening round of the English Premier League soccer clash between Stoke and Liverpool.

But like most efforts on this ill-fated Ashes tour, Lehmann came up empty-handed.

Some fans suggested he should spend more time worrying about Ben Stokes, the English all-rounder that destroyed Australia in the second innings with 6-36.

Others said the team should be using the Ashes early mark to get in some extra practice ahead of next
