Cops make Sonic’s day

JONNY Sonic could not imagine anything worse than losing his life’s work, which is exactly what happened when The Potbelleez musician’s Bondi home was robbed last month.

Sonic (above) is now breathing a sigh of relief after being reunited with most of his belongings after Sydney police charged the thieves.

“It was literally my worst f---ing nightmare,” Sonic told Confidential. “They took everything. I was inconsolable to be honest. It was all my backups as well as my masters of everything I’ve worked on for the past 15 years. It was my whole life’s work.”

Among the items stolen were 15 hard drives and three computers that contained the group’s yet-to-be released original material, as well as tracks Sonic had been working on with several high-profile artists.
