Hope for an end to violence

- John Quinn, Manly

THE national initiative to curb domestic violence has led to many ideas. After reading the article “I want to stop abuse” ( C-M, Aug 10), outlining a six-month trial in the Queensland region where domestic violence is most prevalent, I felt a deep sense of encouragement that this may provide a blueprint. Moreover, Magistrate Colin Strofield’s statement “I don’t believe anyone is a bad person” reinforced my belief that this approach has the potential to lead to positive outcomes for all.
