FIRST-TIME mother-to-be Erika Heynatz thought she was prepared for pregnancy.

But with her body continuing to change as she approaches her sixth month of pregnancy, the Home and Away actor (left) says she is constantly surprised. “All your senses are heightened,” the 39-yearold told Confidential during a break from filming. “I can smell things, storms in the wind three weeks before they come. It is hilarious. My husband ( Andrew Kingston) is like, ‘Yeah, got it, Pocahontas’.”

She continued: “It is magic. I’ve got something in my belly. For me, at the moment I am feeling a very different level of bliss.

“Mixed in with all of this exciting work stuff, I can’t believe this is happening.”

Up next for Heynatz is a run on stage as Lina Lamont in Singing In The Rain, which is due to open at the Lyric Theatre next July. It will also star Adam Garcia and Jack Chambers.
