NRL star in assault arrest
WESTS Tigers forward Matthew Lodge has become the second NRL player charged this season over domestic violence allegations.
Lodge was stood down by the Tigers yesterday after being charged with offences that include stalking, intimidation and assault.
He was arrested in Sydney’s west on Thursday and taken to Blacktown police station.
Lodge has been charged with six counts of common assault, malicious damage, and stalking and intimidation, and was served with a provisional apprehended domestic violence order.
