OUR BOYS IN ACTION London, Tuesday – Mr Ashmead Bartlett, the war correspondent, in his latest report of the operations in the Gallipoli Peninsula, states: While the new landing was being successfully carried out at Anafarta Bay, the Australian and New Zealand forces at Anzac engaged in a desperate struggle to obtain possession of the main ridge running northeast from the Anzac position. No troops were ever called upon to advance in more difficult or broken country.
