Chappy to retire
ESSENDON veteran Paul Chapman has announced his retirement and will play his last AFL game when the Bombers take on Richmond on Saturday night.
“Chappy”, a three-time premiership player with Geelong, joined Essendon ahead of the 2014 season.
The 33-year-old will retire after 280 games.
“I’ve got one more game to go out and have some fun and hopefully have a win with these guys,” Chapman said.
Meanwhile, Hawthorn captain Luke Hodge has accepted his two-match ban for rough conduct against Power star Chad Wingard.
