Shoddy way to repay Farah’s long service and loyalty to the Tigers

WESTS Tigers’ decision to show the door to probably one of their most passionate, longserving players, Robbie Farah, ( C-M, Aug 27) was appalling.

But it wasn’t the decision to do so that raises the ire of any reasonable person, it’s the insulting way they went about it.

Love him or hate him, Farah is “a player’s player” who plays flat out and has given his heart and soul to Wests Tigers. How do they repay his loyalty and dedication? By casting him adrift, with his continued playing career in Reserve grade if he stays.

Let’s hope some other NRL club offers him a contract that is worthy of this warrior.
