-

TOTTENHAM midfielder Mousa Dembele is remaining upbeat despite Spurs’ ordinary start to the season.

Going into the clash against the Toffees at White Hart Lane, Spurs have just two points to show from three Premier League games.

“We’re disappointed about the results but we’re not disappointed about the way we’ve played for the most part,” Dembele said.

“I feel very confident. Everybody is very focused.”

Everton have four points from three games, and suffered a 2-0 home loss to Manchester City last weekend.

In good news for Toffees fans, the club has rejected a transfer request from defender John Stones, who wanted to join Chelsea.

“Since the start of the transfer window, we have resolutely turned down offers from another Premier League football club for our player,” Everton chairman Bill Kenwright said.

“John is not for sale and he will remain a highly valued member of our first-team squad.’’
