AUSTRALIA’S women’s quad scullers have booked a place in their final at the world rowing championships in France by winning their heat.
Queenslanders Jessica Hall and Madeleine Edmunds and crewmates Kerry Hore and Jennifer Cleary beat China and the US in their heat in Aiguebelette.
Toowong’s Tim McDonnell made the quarter-finals of the lightweight men’s single scull with second in his repechage.
Double scullers Sally Kehoe and Olympia Aldersey will go to the repechage tonight (Qld time) after being runners-up behind Lithuania in their heat.
