Nielson has constitute­d an introverte­d soundtrack of filmy vocals and synths and the faintest glitch, whimsicall­y exploring humankind’s interactio­n with machines — a theme as old as, well, Kraftwerk. The Air influence is most evident on the title track and (Justin Timberlake-endorsed!) lead single God Emoji.
