HEARD NOT DOGGED BY WORRY
IT APPEARS actress Amber Heard will not be returning to Queensland for her court case today, despite facing charges for the illegal importation of her and husband Johnny Depp’s dogs, Boo and Pistol. After being issued in July with a summons to appear in Southport Magistrates Court this morning, Heard has spent her weekend living the A-lister life at the Venice Film Festival. Just yesterday the 29year-old walked the red carpet with Depp for her film, The Danish Girl, with the two apparently unconcerned by the legal case against them.
It is understood that Heard’s lawyers will seek an adjournment.
Heard has been accused of sneaking the pups into Queensland via a private jet, without declaring them to authorities.
Depp was with her at the time, arriving Down Under to film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
She could face up to 10 years jail and a fine of $100,000.
