Bouchard’s slip means it’s Nick off
CANADIAN star Eugenie Bouchard pulled out of the US Open doubles tournaments after injuring her head in a locker room fall following her famously flirty match with Nick Kyrgios.
The announcement of Bouchard’s withdrawal came just two hours after she posted a series of photos of herself and Kyrgios during their match to her Twitter feed.
Her withdrawal from doubles ends Kyrgios’ US Open campaign, with Australia’s tennis bad boy expected to leave New York today.
In a statement, it was revealed Bouchard (above) slipped and fell in the locker room, and sustained a head injury after winning back-toback matches at the Open.
Bouchard was due to face Italian Roberta Vinci today in a bid to reach the quarterfinals but medical officers recommended she withdraw.
