THE Au Aussiesi are turning out in fine form at this year’s Venice Film Festival, with the likes of Miranda Otto and Odessa Young stunning international audiences.

Brisbane-born actor Otto (pictured, far right, yesterday) has been keeping herself busy in the Italian city with her movie The Daughter and as a special guest of the independent section, Venice Days.

She also attended the Equals premiere on Saturday, walking the red carpet with fellow Aussie and co-star Young and the film’s stars, Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult.

Young (also pictured yesterday) has turned into one of the biggest winners of this year’s festival, with both her films The Daughter and Looking for Grace screening.

These are the only two feature films the Wonderland actress has starred in, and they’re attracting plenty of attention overseas.

Fellow Aussie Joel Edgerton has also been walking the red carpets in Venice, alongside Johnny Depp, while the likes of Jacki Weaver and Guy Pearce have starred in some of the featured films.
