SEVEN JOURNO MAY BE BACK

-

ANGELA COX is rumoured to become the homecoming queen.

Currently a US correspondent for the Seven Network, the Queenslander was staying tight-lipped about any workplace changes during a quick trip home last week.

“If there was the right job that came up for me back in Australia I would definitely come back,” Cox said.

“I guess I have to wait and see what the big grand plan is.”

Last month Seven brought Cox home to appear on The Morning Show and to read the 4pm national news ahead of a rumoured shake-up.

“It felt great to be home and working,” Cox (pictured) said.

“It was nice to try these different roles to see if there is somewhere that I might fit when I finish my posting in the US.”

The UQ graduate has been based in Los Angeles for the past six years.

While Cox has family, including a twin sister, in Queensland, her upcoming job is expected to be based in the Sydney office.

A spokeswoman for the Seven Network would not confirm any role changes at this stage.
