Memorial to be held for Jayde


A PUBLIC memorial service for murdered Lockyer Valley teen Jayde Kendall will be held in Gatton next Thursday.

Jayde went missing after getting into a friend’s car outside Lockyer District High School on August 14.

Her body was found 13 days later at an Upper Tenthill property.

Jayde’s school friend Brenden Bennetts, who was driving the red car, has been charged with her murder and misconduct with a corpse by interferin­g.

The public memorial will be held at the Gatton Sports Centre, Spencer St, at 4pm on September 17.

The family have requested there be no flowers, however if people wish they can make a donation to an online fund set up via gofundme.
