UK kills its own jihadis
LONDON: Two British ISIS militants who died in Syria were killed by a UK drone, the first occasion in modern times an attack by the British has been launched in a foreign country outside of a war.
Prime Minister David Cameron made the revelation to Parliament as he prepares to ask MPs to allow RAF air strikes in Syria. France revealed it, too, was readying to launch military action in that country.
Mr Cameron defiantly said the drone hit on the ISIS capital Raqqa was unique but justified and would not be the last.
The Reaper drone strike, which took place on August 21, was carried out without parliamentary authority.
