TEN DROPS ANCHOR INTO MIX

LACHLAN Kennedy’s arrival on the Ten News Queensland news desk has had little impact on the station’s ratings.

On Monday, Ten Eyewitness News was watched by 106,000 people in Brisbane.

In the past week, the station’s news ratings have varied between 94,000 and 117,000, placing Monday night’s performanc­e right in the middle.

Kennedy had been reading the news while anchor Georgina Lewis (left, with Kennedy) was on leave but joined her permanentl­y on the desk on Monday night.

Meanwhile, Seven News was watched by an average of 177,500 across the hour and Nine was watched by 230,000 people.

The Courier-Mail is read by an average of 665,000 people every day.
