Samsung is going where it never has before with this device: into your bed. The SleepSense is a curious device that looks like a Sony Discman but promises to monitor vital signs while you sleep, from pulse and respiration rate, to the time it took you to fall asleep, how many times you woke, and how much rapid-eye movement sleep you enjoyed. It does this sitting under your mattress. SleepSense can also connect to other internetsavvy devices, such as air conditioners, televisions, and coffee machines, to automate tasks such as turning the screen off when you fall asleep in front of the TV.
