AT A GLANCE

-

WHAT IT’S GOT

Seven-seat option, reversing camera and rear sensors, climate control, hill start assist.

WHAT IT HASN’T

Satnav or a cargo blind on cheapest model, stopstart fuel saving technology, automated emergency braking, blind spot monitoring

OWNERSHIP

Five-year/100,000km warranty, five-year roadside assist if you continue servicing with dealer and four year/60,000km capped price servicing.

WHAT WE LIKED

The styling is easier on the eye and the sevenseat option gives it added flexibility, though it’s a bit of a squeeze in the third row.

WHAT WE DIDN’T

No digital speedo. Trip computer has a mind of its own. Connecting a phone is a pain.

PICK OF THE RANGE

There are three engines and three transmissions to choose from plus the plug-in hybrid. Go for the middle — the XLS 2.4-litre with CVT and AWD just works.
