Pies snare Treloar
COLLINGWOOD will secure Adam Treloar on a monster deal with the lure of playing in front of big crowds at the MCG helping convince the midfielder to quit Greater Western Sydney last night.
Treloar and manager Peter Blucher told the Giants at 5pm he wanted to join the Magpies.
The Noble Park product will reunite with coach Nathan Buckley, who coached him at under-16 level.
The lure back to footy’s heartland was too strong after five years in Sydney.
It is believed the Magpies’ six-year offer is approximately $4 million or about $700,000 a season.
