Mum’s the word on mu­sic for Dannii

DANNII Minogue is writ­ing new songs but can’t make ma­jor com­mit­ments to mu­sic due to her role as a mum.

Minogue, gue, mother to o Ethan, 8, said she ap­pre­ci­ated the love for her 2003 Neon Nights al­bum, which hich went back k to the top of the e Bri­tish charts af­ter be­ing re-re­leased on vinyl ear­lier this year.

The al­bum con­tained the hits Put The Nee­dle On It, Who Do You Love Now, and I Be­gin To Won­der.

“I got to en­joy that al­bum all over again,” Minogue said. “But when the fans said I should do another one, I was like, ‘You don’t un­der­stand. Neon Nights was me work­ing for a year – with­out a child’.

“My days now are think­ing about my son. I go to work and I come back to him. It’s a whole dif­fer­ent ball­game.”
