GAFFE-prone Federal Environment Minister Melissa Price has failed to reach agreement with the states tes on a united position to take to a major climate summit t in Poland this s weekend, as talks s collapsed in acri- mony.

Ms Price (pic- tured), described by one of her own colleagues s last month as a “minister on Lplates”, bailed out of her own press conference after less than five minutes. She had been asked why no agreement was reached and why none of her state counterparts joined her at the media event. S She said the other ministers would not agree to her proposed “i “important and powerful” statement that Australi lia noted the e effect of climate change and would work on an action p plan. Five Labor environment ministers issued a joint statement slamming her for a lack of action.
