HOLE IN MEMORY

-

TIGER Woods has no memory of the car accident that left him with a shattered right leg – and appeared to be unaware of how badly injured he was when the first sheriff’s deputy arrived at the scene.

“At the hospital he was asked about it by the investigators and he had no recollection of the crash itself,” LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva told CNN.

Deputy Carlos Gonzalez, who arrived first at the scene, said on television that the golfing icon was calm, but appeared to be unaware of how badly he was hurt. “It could be a mixture of adrenaline, it could’ve been shock,” he said.

A MAN who says he helped restrain one of the people found dead in a submerged toolbox south of Brisbane has revealed his regret after being confronted by his then-girlfriend over the pair’s deaths.

Lelan Harrington, a close friend of deceased man Cory Breton, continued giving evidence for a second day at the trial of four men charged with the murder of Mr Breton and a woman, Iuliana Triscaru, in January 2016. “I wanted to let her (Iuliana) go ... they probably would have shot us right there on the spot.”

The trial continues.
