Woman in rail crash

A WOMAN has died in a horror crash at one of Brisbane’s notoriously dangerous intersections. Her car collided with a train at Lindum rail station on Brisbane’s bayside about 1.45pm. Paramedics attended but she could not be saved.

The woman, 32, was the sole occupant of the car at the time, and the train was a non-passenger service.

Two years ago, an elderly woman died after being hit by a train at the crossing. A solution for the intersection has been in the works for the past 18 months after $125m was designated to fix it.
